Dermal Filler Plantation FL

Plantation’s premier medical spa for all of your skincare and injectable needs

The aging process, as well as environmental factors, can really take a toll on your skin. Dermal fillers are injectable products that fight the visible signs of aging like fine lines and wrinkles. Most of them contain hyaluronic acid as their active ingredient. The role of hyaluronic acid is to attract moisture into your skin, leading to a moisturizing and plumping effect. Although they work in similar ways, dermal fillers like Restylane, Juvederm, and Versa have some important distinctions.

These popular fillers all have one thing in common: their active ingredient is hyaluronic acid, so these injections can help to restore normal hyaluronic acid levels in your skin and help maintain, or partially reverse, the damaging effects of hyaluronic acid deficiency.

Lip Enhancement

45 MINUTES

A lip augmentation procedure is also known as lip enhancement, lip fillers, or lip injections and is used to improve the size and shape of lips permanently or temporarily. Each patient’s treatment can be tailored to their unique needs to create a fuller look, define the smile, or even turn the corners of the mouth upwards.

Smile Lines (Nasal Labial Folds)

45 MINUTES

Nasolabial folds in your skin extend from both sides of your nose to your mouth corners. They are also called laugh lines or smile lines. Your creases can become more prominent and permanent as you age, especially if you don’t protect your skin. Dermal fillers can help fill in those lines.

Cheeks

35 MINUTES

The purpose of cheek fillers is to add volume to certain areas of your cheeks, which can change the shape of your cheeks. Cheek filler gives you a more youthful appearance by making your cheekbones look higher.

Chin Enhancement

45 MINUTES

Non-surgical chin augmentation with chin fillers restores harmony and proportion to the face. A dermal filler treatment optimizes the chin, giving the lower third of the face more definition and symmetry.

Jawline Contour

45 MINUTES

A jawline filler can be a great way to enhance the appearance of the jaw and chin area instantly and effectively. This area can be shaped, defined, and adjusted by dermal fillers. There are several causes of a weak jawline and chin, including genetics, weight gain, and aging.

Hand Rejuvenation

45 MINUTES

Dermal fillers can be used to fill in lines and wrinkles on the back of the hands and erase the signs of aging. We recommend one filler per hand. Hand rejuvenation is not recommended for fingers.

Marionette Lines

Marionette lines run from the corners of the mouth and can extend down to the chin and jawline. As a result, patients may appear sad or angry due to the drooping corners of their mouths. Using dermal fillers can eliminate mild to moderate lines and add volume to hollow areas around the mouth.

Your Results

One of the most gratifying aspects of being treated with dermal fillers is that they offer immediate results. And your results will continue to build over the following days after you receive your injections.

At some point, which varies by product, the injected filler will be metabolized by your body. At that point, you would require follow-up injections to maintain your wrinkle reduction results.

Versa

You may not have heard of Versa – a relatively new product on the dermal filler scene. It is manufactured using a proprietary formula that results in filler particles that are uniform and spherical, striking an optimal balance between smoothness and volume.

The high viscosity of Versa means that it can be injected using a very fine needle, causing less facial disruption. Studies have found that treatment with Versa leads to 50 percent less swelling than with other popular filler products.

Here at Beauty Lush Medspa we carry both Versa and Versa + Lips

Restylane vs. Juvederm

The two most popular dermal fillers both contain hyaluronic acid, but there are some differences between the products. Juvederm is somewhat smoother in consistency, so it spreads out more readily.

Restylane has a more granular consistency and does not generally spread. This makes it more suitable for more controlled and fine injections into smaller areas like the lips and tear troughs.

FAQs

A dermal filler is a soft gel-like compound that is injected beneath the skin. A dermal filler creates a smoother or fuller appearance.

Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance that your body already makes. Due to the aging process, as well as environmental factors, your skin quality and integrity is effected. Aging definitely leads to a loss of production of the substance called hyaluronic acid, which is present in large amounts in soft tissues, like the skin, when you are young.

On average dermal fillers last 1+ years. At some point, which varies by product, the injected filler will be metabolized by your body. At that point, you would require follow-up injections to maintain your dermal filler results
